The Disciplinary Committee of Gidan Dawa FC has reviewed the incident involving player IGWE, who verbally insulted the match referee during a recent Week 4 fixture.
After careful consideration, the committee has decided to impose a two-match ban on the player for misconduct and disrespect towards match officials. In addition, the player will be required to write an apology letter to demonstrate remorse for his actions and attitude.
We strongly encourage all players and team officials to uphold discipline, sportsmanship, and respect for referees at all times.
